CLASSES WITH KATERINA

Katerina has a great teaching experience, she has taught at the Children's Art School in Saint-Petersburg, and as well at a variety of private vocal studios, for adult vocal instruction including master classes.
She teaches a wide variety musical styles and levels of singing, from the beginner and intermediate, to advanced, her focused styles include: Broadway musicals, Jazz, Bossa nova, R&B, Pop, Rock and her traditional Russian folk music.

Katerina's topics for her classes will focus on vocal techniques, breathing, relaxation, ear training, posture, listening, establish keys, choosing repertoire, interpretation and improvisational skills, phrasing, projection, stage etiquette and various other vocal exercises. Students will learn how to warm up before singing, improve their range and strengthen their vocal cords, they will also, work on specific songs in order to perfect and learn the proper skills needed to choose the best suited repertoire that most suits there specific style. Most students will hear and see improvement in just a couple weeks.

Katerina's class offers a solid foundation for all inspiring vocalist of all ages and levels and it gives students a valuable opportunity to improve their knowledge, musical direction, confidence, vocal style and technique in a informative, relaxed, supportive group setting.

CLASSES WITH ANNA

Anna started her pedagogical experience in 2012.

​In 2016 she opened her studio in Moscow, which has trained about 70 people in total. Her students showed promising results, and some entered the vocal schools of higher education in the future.

In teaching students (both adults and minors), she adheres to the principle of "NO HARM." Her goal is to help beginner vocalists find their voice without any discomfort (physical and psychological). Annas students' repertoire includes the complete palette of styles, from classical to popular and rock songs.

Anna studied music since she was a little girl when parents sent her to music school to learn violin. After finishing school, she decided to try herself at singing. Every day, a year of hard practice allowed her to enter one of the best schools in the world for training classical musicians - the Russian Academy of Gnesins, where she graduated as an academic singer and vocal coach. She studied with the best teachers and graduated with special honors, which allowed her to quickly enter the master's program and improve her knowledge in the performing and teaching arts.

CLASSES WITH NADYA

Nadia is a performer and a voice teacher with more than 10 years of in studio teaching experience. Nadia holds Music Education Degree from SJSU School of Music and Dance, studied at Moscow Music Gnessin College as classical singer, received private vocal training at Jane Randolph’s studio, MTCA and NAFME member, she is finishing her Master’s Degree in Education and Teaching Credential in Choral Conducting in the Fall 2023. Since 2018 Nadia is a major cast singer at the Sunnyvale Russian Theater.

Nadia’s teaching philosophy is to help students to open up their vocal talents in a stress free, nonjudgmental, and safe studio environment. On her sessions she applies holistic and mindful singing approach. We will work on diaphragm breathing, articulation, voice projection, and muscle tension release to find your true vocal potential.
